About Youssef Shenouda

I’m a visual artist based in Cairo, with a background in Applied Arts and a passion for storytelling through form and color.

 

My creative path began with tattooing in 2015, and over time, it expanded into a deeper exploration of oil painting, acrylic, pastel, and pencil.

 

My work moves between motion and stillness, drawing inspiration from street life, quiet portraits, and abstract emotion. Whether I’m working on skin or canvas, I aim to create pieces that carry rhythm, memory, and identity.

 

I also hold a degree in Applied Arts and come from a background in fashion design, which shaped my eye for form, color, and composition.

 

Over the years, I’ve developed a distinct visual language influenced by the people and places around me. Today, I continue my practice across multiple mediums — offering original paintings, commissions, and tattoo work that reflect both my skill and my story.
